The Dugard Eagle 760 Vertical Machining Centre(VMC) with a 900 mm by 410 mm worktable set on a heavy duty cast bed with extended bearing blocks for the 460 mm vertical Z-axis.
Filling a need in the market for a high specification rigid and powerful solution for large components weighing up to five tonnes and up to 5.5 m by 2.6 m by 1.3 m that require precision boring, milling, drilling and certain turning cycles.
As those of you who visited us will no doubt have noticed, Mach 2008 at the NEC was a complete success! Our golf themed stand not only looked amazing but did it’s job in attracting an enormous amount of interest from everyone at the show.
The Dugard Eagle X-5 vertical machining centre (VMC) will demonstrate simultaneous five-axis tool positioning at MACH 2008 and combine multiple operations, incorporating up to five sides of a component into a single cycle.
To meet ever increasing floor space requirements, forward orders of over £6 million and the expanding range of Dugard Eagle and Hyundai-Kia machines, an on-line auction of 74 second-hand showroom machines drew sales worth over £350,000.
C Dugard of Hove has been able to target its latest MH-500, a 500 mm by 500 mm twin-pallet moving column machine with 40 tool magazine and Fanuc control, to meet a price level of under £100,000.
A new turn-mill centre from the Dugard Eagle range has the specification to perform heavy duty cycles including off-centre machining due to the rigidity of the 12-station turret arrangement.
With a stand at MACH 2008 designed to attract visitors with a golfing interest and, coincidentally, 18 machines will be under power on the stand spanning five-axis technology, turn-milling, vertical turning, horizontal and vertical machining centres.
The Dugard Eagle range of machines will be further expanded at MACH 2008 with the launch of a totally new series of high speed bridge-type vertical machining centres (VMC) to be represented by the XP1600 on the C Dugard stand at the exhibition.
Mach 2006 saw the largest demonstration of machine tools from the Dugard stable for many years. The Hove based company enjoyed sales of £750,000 and is hopeful of a final outcome of more than £1,250,000.
